Online PFC Members & Funders

Funders’ Role in the Data Ecosystem

8 February 2024 / Registration Closed

Who?

CEOs and other leaders, from PFC members and other philanthropic organizations

What?

Gathering to build on the kick-off meeting held on November 30 to bring other people who were unable to attend that last meeting into the conversation.

Some areas we hope to explore:

  • Recommendations from ONN’s June 2023 A Framework for Nonprofit Data Strategies and PFC’s 2021 Towards A Shared Data Strategy for the Philanthropic Sector
  • Our roles as funders in the Nonprofit and Philanthropic Data Ecosystem
  • How we might collectively support a thriving digitally enabled data ecosystem that centers the learning needs of Nonprofits & Charities
  • Opportunities for ongoing dialogue and the development of a formal table with funders to cultivate the Nonprofit and Philanthropic Data Ecosystem

We would like to engage a broad set of leaders from funder organizations in furthering these conversations. If there are leaders in your networks who you think would like to be part of these discussions, please share this event with them.

This event is jointly hosted by the Canadian Centre for Nonprofit Digital Resilience (CCNDR), Ontario Nonprofit Network (ONN), Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF), and Philanthropic Foundations of Canada (PFC).

The event will be in English with French interpretation as needed, and breakout discussions will be offered in both French and English
