About the Project

The Canadian Philanthropy Commitment on Climate Change (CPCCC) is a call to action for all foundations and funders across Canada to recognize climate change as a cross-cutting issue that affects every philanthropic mission.

If left unaddressed, climate change threatens to reverse progress on equity, health, poverty alleviation, economic prosperity, Indigenous and human rights, and all other areas where philanthropy seeks to make a positive impact.

We invite foundations and funders to sign the Commitment and implement meaningful action across seven pillars of climate action. As part of this journey, we provide resources, peer learning, and support to signatories.
