We work in close collaboration with local organizations across the United States, Central and Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia to implement initiatives in the fields of education advancement, poverty alleviation, health, arts and culture, scientific research and the environment. We provide the due diligence, oversight, and compliance required for international charitable projects to ensure that donors can receive charitable tax receipts for their contributions. Project implementation and the use of funds are carefully monitored and governed by two key priorities: maximizing concrete, measurable impact, and minimizing administrative costs as much as possible. About the Role We are currently seeking a Development and Engagement Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Development & Engagement Manager, the successful candidate will support business development through external relationship building, while also contributing to due diligence processes and project management activities. Working closely with the Development & Engagement Manager, the role will help strengthen Myriad Canada’s presence and engagement with international partners, while contributing to the development of our global network by: Gaining hands-on experience in the due diligence, compliance, and reporting processes required for the management of international charitable projects; Identify and develop new international charitable projects, from initial due diligence through ongoing operational management; Actively contributing to the growth of Myriad Canada within the Myriad Alliance for borderless giving.
