Capacity-Building

The Small Foundations Group

The Small Foundations Group is a peer-driven group that allows family foundation staff and family members to meet and share information and best practices.

We generally meet virtually on a bi-monthly basis from September to June. We offer a welcoming, supportive space for individuals to connect with other small foundations, share successes within their small foundation, and any unique challenges they face such as limited resources, smaller teams, and board recruitment. We share resources with one another to help improve our practices and processes, as well as navigate successfully through the philanthropic world as a small foundation.

Who is this group for?

The Small Foundations Group is designed specifically for anyone working in small-sized foundations across Canada.

How to join?
