About the Role:They are looking for a highly capable Program and Operations Coordinator to support the foundation’s growth and effectiveness. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment and enjoys a mix of executive support, communications, project coordination, and operational execution. The Coordinator will play a role in maintaining our systems, supporting critical projects, and ensuring smooth foundation operations. You will work closely with the leadership team and contribute to the foundation’s overall impact. The role is a hybrid, requiring between 2-4 days in office weekly, depending on the period. The office is located at 3109 Bloor St W. It is located on the subway line and parking is available. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-level executive support, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and tracking next steps. Draft internal and external communications, such as newsletters, reports, and board materials. Assist in overseeing key processes, including grant reviews, approvals & management. Maintain and improve operational systems, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail. Support the implementation of new foundation initiatives, including their innovative education program. Conduct research and synthesize insights on emerging trends, best practices, and potential funding opportunities. Help manage grantee relationships and track project progress. Coordinate logistics for board meetings and key foundation events. Who You Are: Hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Experienced (1-3 years) in administrative, office management, communications, events or operations roles (prior work in social impact or philanthropy is a plus but not required); may consider entry-level candidates pending qualifications. A highly organized and detail-oriented professional with strong execution skills. A strong communicator, able to draft clear, compelling written materials. A proactive problem-solver who takes ownership of tasks and follows through effectively. Comfortable with technology and able to quickly learn and maintain internal systems.
