Humanitarian needs are surging in Ukraine, and in its neighbouring countries accepting those fleeing. Refugees will soon be arriving in Canada too as we ramp up our resettlement processes. As we stepped up with COVID, philanthropy should step up wherever it can in this crisis. Credible options exist for foundations interested in responding to immediate humanitarian needs. Some options include: KBF Canada, a PFC member, which has created a fund dedicated to the Ukrainian response. One of the partners for the fund is UNHCR.
