Speaker: Sharilyn Hale


Sharilyn is the Founder & Principal of Watermark Philanthropic Advising. She is certified by the 21/64 Foundation in NYC in multi-generational family philanthropy, and is a BoardSource Certified Governance Trainer assisting non-profit boards to advance their governance excellence. Sharilyn is a leadership volunteer for the Imagine Canada accreditation program for charities in Canada, and is a Provincial Appointee to the Ontario Trillium Foundation.

Speaker: Bonnie Lovelace


Bonnie Lovelace is Executive Director of the Waugh Family Foundation.  She has over 35 years of experience in the public and private sectors.  Positions included Assistant Deputy Minister of Strategic Services, and Senior Financial Officer and Chief Information Officer for Alberta Finance and Treasury; Commercial Officer with TD Canada Trust; and Regional Director for the Public Service Commission of Canada, Alberta/Yukon/Northwest Territories.  Bonnie has also worked in business planning and tax policy, and had a private consulting practice in management training and development.  She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) from the University of Manitoba and an MBA from the University of Alberta.
