This is a full day on June 15, 2017, of peer exchange, examples of good grantmaking practice, sharing of new ideas, and networking. It begins with a dinner on June 14, 6:00 – 9:00 pm.

The author of Good Grantmaking: A Guide for Canadian Foundations, Patrick Johnston is an experienced grant maker. He is a former President and CEO of the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation and a past President and CEO of the Canadian Centre for Philanthropy (now ImagineCanada). A former Board member of Philanthropic Foundations Canada and the Council on Foundations, Patrick currently serves as a Director of the Lawson Foundation. In 2014, Patrick was appointed to the Order of Canada in recognition of his contributions to the charitable and philanthropic sectors.
