Philanthropy in Action Centre
Each PFC conference presents an exceptional opportunity for private funders to meet and to share stories, reports and updates on their philanthropic work.
For the first time, at the Toronto conference, PFC is offering a Philanthropy in Action Centre, a space dedicated to showcasing reports, publications, posters, videos, slide shows, web sites and other communication media produced by PFC members.
The Philanthropy in Action Centre will be located in the main foyer of the conference location at the Eaton Centre Marriott. The room will be open during conference hours on all three days of the conference and will be staffed by volunteers.
We invite all PFC members who wish to share their work with their peers and colleagues to contact PFC if you want to display your publications or other materials in the PIA Centre. Examples of materials that you could share include copies of annual reports, special reports, publications, newsletters, posters, booklets etc. We will also have some capacity on laptops available in the Centre to demonstrate web sites, blogs, videos or slide shows made by or with support from our members,.
Any PFC member who wishes to provide materials for the Centre will need to arrange for delivery to the conference location. PFC staff will coordinate the display and volunteers will act as guides on site.
